Anyone care to guess when one actually get samples? Mouser has it on their web site; I've asked for a delivery time quote.
the 16KB RAM in this is appealing.
And it can be had in PDIP

I assume that response came from Mouser. If you want samples I'd suggest checking with a distributor like Avnet. They've always been very good about getting samples for me. The other choice is to request samples via Atmel's website. I believe that they just forward your request to one of a chosen set of distributors.
The latest I've heard is production availability in 2009Q1. That's a six month slip from the original projection. From what I've seen this is not uncommon for Atmel (and perhaps other semiconductor manufacturers as well). |
