Yep, ta messed up pointer would do it! I think I have done something similar about an infinite number of times.

Thanks for fixing it so fast. Now I can move ahead with more streamlined code!

I installed the new VM into my beta ZX24 and it is working beautifully. I tried installing it into a different ZX24, and it APPEARS to go thru the update with all the flashing of the LED, and the dots on the computer screen. But when the ZX restarts, it tells me that I have V2.5.1 on the chip, and the I2CCmd() still fails. It appears that the VM is not getting updated even though it looks as if the update is working fine!

I will post this message as a new thread in the ZX24 area.
