|
|
I installed the new VM into my beta ZX24 and it is working beautifully.
I tried installing it into a different normal (non-beta) ZX24, and it APPEARS to go thru the update with all the flashing of the LED, and the dots on the computer screen. But when the ZX restarts, it tells me that I still have V2.5.1 on the chip, and the I2CCmd() still fails. It appears that the VM is not getting updated even though it looks as if the update is working fine!
I tried zload with the same results. What could be the problem? The ZX seems to work fine otherwise.

We'll reprogram it for you if you send it back. Use the address below.

I will check the power, but it ought to be quite clean, and I had tried to download on 2 separate platforms. One of these is battery powered. Additionally, On the same platforms I was able to get the old beta ZX to update just fine.
