Greetings
I am a newbie on this forum and have recently received a ZX-1280 dev board.
When connected with a tested RS232 cable on Com1 (J25) I can see the "Hello World" output as per the demo program. If I attempt to download a program using this same connection I get the message 'Device Failed to Respond to ATN signal on Com1'
This is not the case however if I use the USB connection (J28) where I am able to download programs successfully.
Could there be a fault on the RS232 level converter Rx or am I missing something obvious?

Regards
Ian

Even though we do test downloading via both the USB and the RS-232 ports in our manufacturing tests, it is certainly possible that a problem has arisen.

Please double check that the USB/RS-232 switch is in the RS-232 position and that the jumper J18 is installed. If that is the way that it is set up, we'll have to replace it for you. Please send me an email separately to dkinzer *AT* zbasic *DOT* net.
