Where can I find a detailed pin configuration diagram for a zx-40. I see the one in the reference manual for the zx-24, but, alas, no zx-40. Even a detailed ExpressPCB component with everything labeled would be very useful.

Any enlightenment will be appreciated.

Vic

The ZX-40 has the same I/O pins as the mega chip it is based on: ATmega32. Similarly for the ZX-40a and ZX-40p/ZX-40n. See also Appendix C of the ZBasic Language Reference manual.

The attached file has ExpressPCB components for the PDIP-28, PDIP-40 and TQFP-44 packages that match the ZX-328n, ZX-40a and ZX-44a. It also contains a component representation of the ZX-24.

Mike and Don,

Thanks for the quick replies. They helped solve the problem I was having.

Best regards,
