I want to stack two smallish PCBs and need a thru-hole, single row connector system. I would like to have at least 0.5" between the boards and use 0.1" hole and, ideally, find something that supports 14 circuit lines. I am not sure what these critters would be called and it is hampering my search. What do you use? Where do I get them?

Any enlightenment will be appreciated.

Vic

Digikey S7012-ND and a standard 14 connector 0.100" header will do the trick although it's slightly under 0.5" (~0.475). Here's the Digikey catalog page for the socket...
