Hi Guys

Im using a pair of Xbee Pro series 2 (50mw) and Im only getting 50% tx/rx success between the two. Im really struggling for ideas as to what might be wrong. I have tried all different baud rates, and still no improvement.

This error seems to be caused by a massive delay in data being sent from the Co-ordinator to Router/End. Transmissions the other way seem fine and instant.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Ben

change channels - look at 802.15.4 channel numbers versus WiFi channel numbers - not same numbering scheme.

Also, if you are using a wireless UART type of firmware (rather than ZigBee), it has a timer to collect chars for a while and send them in one 802.15.4 frame. That timer is user settable, normally defaults to about 0.1 or 0.2 second. Also be sure to use flow control on transmitting: either RTS/CTS or XON/XOFF or some equivalent of your design.
