The wonderful folks at Tibbo have already changed the pinout and wiring diagram for the EM500/GA1000 combo, making my shield layout obsolete. The new arrangement is shown in Fig C at...
I'm not at all clear on what the symbols between GPIO6 & GPIO7 represent. |

Those are 2-input Nand gates.

Here is a small one. There are several varieties available in the "Tiny" series.
