|
|
I tried to upgrade my ZX-24 to the lastest firmware version (1.1.5).
During the upgrade process, the debug window shown me an error message (CRC error).
Now when the processor is powered sends continuosly the character 'Z' to the serial port.
If I retry to do the upgrade, but now I've the following error "Device failed to respond to ATN signal on COM6".
I did successfully the ATN Test with ZLoad.
Do I need an emergency update?
If so, where I can find th eupdate file? |

I suspect so. If an update in interrupted in any way, such as you described, it is likely that the firmware cannot now be updated in the normal way.
To perform an emergency update, follow the procedure described in the manual: http://www.zbasic.net/doc/ZBasicRef.php?page=92 The update file is the same as for a normal update. However, since you indicated that a CRC error was detected it would be advisable to download the update file again. |
