Due to many user request I am releasing "For Free" to the ZBasic community the BOM - Bill of materials or parts list (Excel spreadsheet) for the "Super Com Z" printed circuit card. Cool

-----------------------------------------------------------------
"Super Comm Z" (printed circuit board 3.8" x 2.5") has:
-----------------------------------------------------------------

#1. 1 hardware serial port for PC program downloading and debugging.
(DCE - female RS232 connector. No hardware handshaking.) Has a
disconnect
jumper to disable the ATN signal. (for extra comm 1 serial port use)

#2. 4 software RS232 UARTS with adjustable buffers or queues. Serial
comports 3-6. (DTE - male Rs232 connectors. No hardware
handshaking)

#3. 1 ZBasic (Elba Corp) ZX-40 Atmel ATMega32 @ 14.7 (machine) MIPs
or 172,000 basic instructions per second.

#4. 1 256k EEPROM for 32kbytes ~ 8,000 lines of code or optionally 1
512k EEPROM for 64kbytes ~ 16,000 lines of code.

#5. 3 external interrupts. Int0, Int1 & Int2.Comm 6 receive interrupt has
Int0 and Comm 5 has receive interrupt Int1. External interrupt Int2 is
used for an IR detector on 4 pin connector J8.

#6. 2 Jumpers which provides +5 VDC to pin 9 of the serial ports - for
powering external support communications equipment. Jumpers are on
Comports 4 & 6.

#7. 10 Diagnostic LEDs. 1 (red) for power. 4 (red) for chars in Tx
buffers/queues 4 (green) for chars in Rx buffers/queues and 1
amber/orange for ZX-40 running indication.

#8. 10 External I/O signals for SPI/I2C/OW on the 10 pin ribbon connector
J7.

#9. On board 5VDC regulator for powering the on board components.
Needs only a +12 DC input from wallwart.

#10 Contains no hard to find, to repair and to solder surface mount
components.

#11. All the necessary 4 port RS232 connectors are on board.

#12. All IC parts are socketed for easy troubleshooting and repair.

#13. All parts are generic and second sourced except for the CPU.
