I have no design; I just don't like yours, Andy. I don't understand
your numbers (How does ... 3.06 VDC. [+] several hundred millivolts RMS
A.C. [=] .35 to ~1.0 [presumably 1.75 to 5.0v], for example? Sure it's
not oscillating?), you're happy to use a part out of spec, and you can't
or choose not to defend your design despite a fair technical criticism,
as I see it.

I won't extend others' agony any further.
