Closing a Serial Port

I am currently using the IDE with multiple serial ports. I display the serial port dialog and click on the close button to close a port. Intuitively I then press OK and the port is reopened. The workaround is to press Cancel instead.

That's an interesting issue. I don't know yet how to modify this. Perhaps if the serial port combo box hasn't been changed since the Close button has been clicked the port should not be opened.
