The ZX-24s1 is a special version of the mega1284P-based ZX-24 that has different pins. It was manufactured as a special order item for one of our customers.

The special pins are 0.030" in diameter and 0.195" long. This compares to the standard ZX-24 pins which are 0.020" in diameter and 0.150" long. The larger diameter pins do fit in the ubiquitous prototyping boards but it is a snug fit.

This device can be programmed as either a ZX-24r, a ZX-24s or a ZX-24t. When ordering, please specify which style you would like. When programmed as a ZX-24r it will be marked with a red paint dot, blue for ZX-24s and orange for ZX-24t.
